Verdict

It is always risky fielding against the Dascombe/Kingscote combination at Haydock, especially with a dual course winner such as La Celebs Ville, who should go very well again but still has a bit to prove from this mark and preference is for LOPITO DE VEGA, whose record this season suggests that this target has been on the minds of connections. In first-time cheekpieces and from 3lb lower than last year he could strike again. Sir Jack, Outback Blue and Scottish Summit all have each-way claims, while Auspicion is feared and both Craftsmanship and Outback Blue can't be ruled out in a competitive heat.
  1. Lopito de Vega
  2. La Celebs Ville
  3. Auspicion
