Verdict

A tough race to assess with a fair few of the leading contenders dropping in class after varying degrees of disappointment. The market will be informative but DUKE OF FIRENZE went very close in the Dash at Epsom last month and coming here off a short break having since been tame over 6f at Ascot, he could again go well over the minimum trip. He may have the last word under Spencer. Goldream has been tried in tough races so far this term and should give a good account at this level while Ornate is a player with Moore back on board. Willytheconqueror should find this task to his liking and Yalta will surely be able to show more now back over the minimum trip in this grade.
  1. Duke Of Firenze
  2. Ornate
  3. Yalta
