Verdict

A very competitive renewal of the Irishbigracetrends Handicap in which half of the eight strong field are separated by just 2lb in the weights. On jockey bookings Pumaflor appears to be the O'Meara second string, but commands much respect given his trainers reputation of excelling with newly acquired horses. Lord Reason's Epsom success might have just knocked the edge off him for now (best caught fresh), whilst Worlds His Oyster looks on a winnable mark if the visor continues to help his momentum. However, the focus should be on the lightly raced Big Time Dancer who will be sharper for his recent reappearance and the slow developing three-year-old VALLEY OF ROCKS. Whilst he has something to find on all known form, he has the look and feel of a typical Johnston improver now that he has managed to get his head in front, and can be supported at small stakes in an open contest.
  1. Valley of Rocks
  2. Big Time Dancer
  3. Worlds His Oyster
