Verdict

It is very difficult to be confident about anything in this lowly apprentice handicap, but PERMANENT has at least shown a little dash in recent starts and might be good enough to land the spoils. Outstanding old-timer Megala has won mroe races than the other 14 horses put together and knows his job, so may yet be in with a shout at this level, while the three-year-old fillies Epsom Secret and Neptune Star have some hope of imporving with light weights to carry. Dr Goodhead is one of the few with potential to do better.
  1. Permanent
  2. Megalala
  3. Dr Goodhead
