Without doubt the best race of the evening on an otherwise low-key Kempton card.
DISTANT is an improving filly who should relish stepping back up in trip for her handicap debut. Her opening mark of 79 looks reasonable and she can take full advantage of the allowances that she receives from some fairly talented rivals. These include the likes of the admirable
Tom's Rock, who once more promises to be on the premises with his excellent recent C&D effort franked subsequently by Clowance One. Others to consider include the unexposed and first time blinkered
St Malo, and the returning August 2016 C&D winner
Vincent's Forever.
