Verdict

Endless Gold and Anif look the pick of the younger brigade in this, but neither can be said to well-handicapped. On the other hand CAPE ICON has too much in his favour to ignore. Having won first time out at the start of both his campaigns, today looks the right occasion to catch him in 2017. He takes a marked drop in both the weights and in class. To boost his prospects even more he will have the services of a rider who is in imperious form and who has a 50 percent strike rate for the yard.
  1. Cape Icon
  2. Anif
  3. Endless Gold
