Verdict

NEW TERMS made a good impression on debut at the Curragh when finishing second and must be forgiven a luckless second outing at Listowel. She was poised to thrown a big challenge there only to be impeded and stumble, effectively forfeiting all chance. She can get back on track and has the scope to win this. Perfect Soldier should appreciate this longer trip having stayed on in the closing stages on debut and the booking of Smullen ensures he is one to note. Barca is likely to prove better than we have seen in two runs while Dreaming Of Gold is another potential improver lurking.
