Verdict

With a couple of horses who have led in recent starts in this contest it may pay to side with CHAMPAGNE BOB who usually races from off the pace and ran well when finishing third over this C&D on soft ground earlier this month. The selection raced with one other rival on that occasion and is taken to win here at the chief expense of Castlerea Tess who was slowly away when disappointing last time out while Spellmaker is well handicapped on his old form and can take third.
  1. Champagne Bob
  2. Castlerea Tess
  3. Spellmaker
