Six fillies who have proven their wellbeing are taken on by
CLIFF FACE for what may turn out to be a tactical affair with no obvious contender to set a decent pace. Sir Mark Prescott's filly graduated to Listed company for her final run of 2016 and produced the best run of her short career. There is a promise of more to come and, having won on her seasonal bow in 2016, there should be few fitness doubts.
Langlauf is a progressive filly from an in form yard with a good claimer on board. She has shown a useful turn of foot in being delivered late to score over 1m4f at Kempton and that asset makes her a danger to the selection.
Elysian Fields was placed in Listed company last time and is feared although
Graceland appeals as being better treated.
