I Will Excel (4/1), Hatton Cross (4/1), Alans Pride (6/1), Severus (7/1), Burren View Lady (8/1), Kiss The Stars (10/1), Count Of Carabass (11/1), Blue Bounty (11/1), Secret Path (12/1), One Liner (14/1), Guanabara Bay (16/1), Battleroftheboyne (16/1), Texas Katie (20/1), Oor Jock (20/1), New Identity (28/1), More Kudos (33/1), Free Code (33/1)

Verdict

COUNT OF CARABASS is anything but consistent but the gelding is the owner of a strong record at this venue in four starts and so, at likely decent odds, he may be worth siding with. He won here in October and is now 5lb lower than when going down narrowly in attempting a quick follow up. On his second start back from a break, he can run a big race on a track that he seems to relish. Hatton Cross caught the eye last month at Cork on his return and should be in the mix while Burren View Lady isn't discounted despite going up 4lb for a narrow Ayr success last time out. Severus ran well over C&D on penultimate start and could shape better now back down in trip while I Will Excel is another meriting a second look.
  1. Count Of Carabass
  2. Hatton Cross
  3. I Will Excel
