Verdict

This looks a hot maiden for this venue and several future winners are likely to come out of it. Most of the top yard's are represented and the market should be informative. Petitioner went into many notebooks following his introduction. This requires him to have improved considerably and his yard have gone off the boil lately with just one winner in the past two weeks. Buldan is bred to do better over this trip but he may be one to watch for handicaps later in the year, whilst Uptown Funk represents top connections but the fitting of cheekpieces is a concern. Master Archer sets a reasonable standard but the vote goes to FOREVER SONG, despite his obvious failure at Nottingham. That run is best ignored and he comes from a family that have plenty of AW winners amongst them. The yard are operating at an incredible strike rate at present and this could be another to add to the tally.
  1. Forever Song
  2. Master Archer
  3. Buldan
