A tight handicap, but
RANTAN looks interesting with the benefit of a Ripon seasonal reappearance under his belt. He was twice a runner up at this track during July 2016 on soft ground and has been very lightly raced since. He hails from a shrewd yard, and with conditions to suit, there might just be a little more to come despite an elevated enough handicap mark of 82.
Adam's Ale is another course winner who should be noted for market support on debut for Marjorie Fife, whilst
Amood can't be discounted on the best of his form from the summer of 2016, and
Signore Piccolo has run well in both starts for David Loughnane.
