Abjar (8/13), Light Of Joy (9/2), Lady Bergamot (8/1), Cape Coast (8/1), Lady Macha (8/1), Captor (14/1), Sparte Quercus (25/1), Toronto Sound (33/1), Lord Rob (40/1), Vindicator (66/1), Canizay (100/1), Saint Cuthberts (150/1), Python (200/1)

Verdict

Connections of ABJAR probably hoped that June 3rd would have seen a trip to Epsom (held a Derby entry) rather than a visit to Newcastle for a maiden, but this once raced Nathaniel colt looks to have a decent future ahead nevertheless based upon his Chelmsford debut effort which gave plenty of optimism for the future. His trainer has a strong record at this track, and this Group 2 King Edward VII entrant looks a cut above these rivals and should be off the mark at the second attempt.
  1. Abjar
  2. Light Of Joy
  3. Captor
