Quarter measures won't be good enough here and while the likes of Haripour, All Of Me and Purdey all appeal as leading contenders at this level, they will all need to step things up a notch if STEEL PRINCE builds on his narrow defeat at the hands of the Royal Ascot-bound Wisconsin. The step up in trip will suit the Nathaniel colt and he looks the best option from those with experience. Aidan O'Brien as usual clouds the picture for everyone else by introducing a nicely-bred individual in she form of World Stage, who looks the more desirable option from Ballydoyle. He will need to be pretty smart to deliver at the first time of asking in this company so strong support for the son of Galileo would be dangerous to ignore.
