Beverley winner
Almane is the clear form pick, but he's penalised and switches to the AW for the first time and the draw could've been far kinder. The purchase price of
Global Humour immediately catches the eye, and with a dirt pedigree, it's unsurprising that his trainer chooses to debut him on synthetics rather than on turf. The filly
Sosian hails from a yard who is constantly respected in juvenile contests, whilst
Pilkington is also worth noting for any market support. It takes a leap of faith to select
BRANSCOMBE on the strength of his Chelmsford debut, but his trainers juveniles are flying and there's reason to believe he's far better than that showing, and with plenty of other options over the next few days, it is note-worthy that this competitive contest has been chosen.
