Av A Word (11/4), Epsom Secret (6/1), Mordoree (13/2), About Glory (7/1), Equal Rights (8/1), Nobleman (10/1), London Grammar (11/1), Primrose Place (14/1), Permanent (16/1), Mystical Nelly (16/1), Rakematiz (20/1), Caspian Gold (28/1), Ronni Layne (33/1), Ripper Street (100/1)

Verdict

Just low-grade fare and quite a few of these have struggled to make their marks in handicaps already and progressive types are rather thin on the ground. If we got a strongly run race Av A Word would have a chance and if he settles so would Nobleman who you feel could be better than this mark if he proves more tractable. London Grammar isn’t totally ruled out of this and neither are About Glory and MORDOREE. They both have the same sort of profile with both looking to be better in handicaps and it’s the latter who has shown a little more so far.
  1. Mordoree
  2. About Glory
  3. Nobleman
