Verdict

Prince Mahler probably has the best recent form in the book with two victories before disappointing when up in the handicap at Fontwell last time out. There's no particular reason he should show something else here, except for if he settles much better, while Monte Wildhorn always seems to run his race and this is his easiest assignment for a while. Preference however is for SHOTOFWINE. This gelding won on handicap debut in December and though he was beaten last time and looked beaten when coming down on his only other run since, he should find this a much easier task.
  1. Shotofwine
  2. Prince Mahler
  3. Monte Wildhorn
