Verdict

Recent form suggests the winner should come from Goonjim, Denny Kerrell or CODE OF LAW. The former would be a standout for this if we were at Plumpton but it is hard to know how we will fare around this unique course. He is normally popular in the market and is just 2lb higher than when scoring in March. Denny Kerrell may want the ground to ride a little slower than is forecast but CODE OF LAW drops to a trip which he has been looking for. His stable do well at the summer meetings here and indeed took this same race 12 months ago. Runner-up spots behind a couple of improving types under similar conditions raise hopes that he can open his account here.
  1. Code Of Law
  2. Goonjim
  3. Denny Kerrell
