Verdict

Amirr boasted some useful bumper form for John Ferguson and he would be an obvious candidate if ready for his first start in almost two years. Addrastos has picked up a penalty for beating the disappointing Bardd at Plumpton. He probably achieved more at Newton Abbot last time and this is potentially less competitive. Nevertheless, Gustave Mahler receives a useful 7lb from him and that may just tilt things in his favour. He was above average in bumpers last summer and it looks significant that the champion jockey is back on board.
  1. Gustave Mahler
  2. Adrrastos
  3. Amirr
