Verdict

CLEAR SPRING shaped better than has been the case in previous starts when making his first start since being gelded at Newmarket earlier this month. The selection weakened late on in that 6f contest and is likely to have come on for the run there. Of his rivals here Ice Age has already won this season and the drop in trip today shouldn't inconvenience him while Gunmetal who finished in front of the selection at Newmarket can claim third today.
  1. Clear Spring
  2. Ice Age
  3. Gunmetal
