Verdict

Minella Charmer, Resolution Bay and Red Indian have had problems with their jumping of late. Of the three Red Indian looks potentially the better handicapped having found the trip and track too sharp last time before finding the concession of a stone to a 130 rated winner too much. Robin Of Locksley and Golden Birthday appear to have their fair share of weight but BRAHMS DE CLERMONT is harder to evaluate. Two of his three runs over hurdles have been on ground softer than ideal and he made short work of modest opposition last time. Paul Nicholls' charge beat the useful Brillare Momento in a Cheltenham bumper which suggests he may be a lot better than we have seen so far. The yard are in excellent form and he may be the answer to a trappy contest.
  1. Brahms De Clermont
  2. Red Indian
  3. Minella Charmer
