Kinloch Pride (4/1), Storm Trooper (13/2), Searanger (13/2), See Vermont (7/1), Culloden (9/1), Groundworker (9/1), Pearl Noir (10/1), Thornaby Princess (14/1), Ryedale Rio (14/1), Novabridge (14/1), Captain Scooby (16/1), Tinsill (16/1), A J Cook (20/1), Under Approval (50/1), Another Desperado (50/1), Rat Catcher (66/1), Good Move (100/1)

Verdict

A very moderate sprint and Kinloch Pride may again be capable of being competitive despite a 6lb rise. Storm Trooper is a possible winner on his second start for this yard, with headgear applied and from a decent pitch, while Thornaby Princess, Ryedale Rio and A J Cook are others who may get involved. Captain Scooby would be interesting if supported, though the suggestion is SEARANGER, who is admittedly exposed, but has slid to a mark that he is likely to be very competitive from. He is not badly drawn and the headgear combination might just give him the edge at last.
  1. Searanger
  2. Storm Trooper
  3. Kinloch Pride
