Verdict

It could be that NORMANDY BARRIERE needed the run when finishing second on his reappearance at Newmarket having been sent off favourite, or perhaps he didn't handle the Dip on his first appearance on the Rowley Mile. Either way, he should be able to build on that performance here off the same mark in what looks to be an easier race. He retains the services of William Buick and as a C&D winner there can be no concerns over the track this time. Little Palaver impressed at Windsor on his reappearance last month, meanwhile, and Sign of the Kodiac, while an unlikely winner, certainly has the form to finish in the top three.
  1. Normandy Barriere
  2. Little Palaver
  3. Sign of The Kodiac
