Verdict

Caledonia Laird and Andalusite are recent winners who now face stiffer tasks than last time. Caledonia Laird may find his revised mark against him but Andalusite may have more to offer now that connections have found her ideal trip. Gannicus goes well fresh and has produced solid efforts around here previously. Stable form is a concern as well as an ability to handle ground as quick as this. There are no such doubts surrounding ALMANACK who had Mister Musicmaster well behind when hacking up at Salisbury last time. A 6lb penalty seems unlikely to halt his progress and his young rider has won on him on two previous occasions.
  1. Almanack
  2. Gannicus
  3. Andalusite
