CLONTARF has appeared a nice prospect in two novice runs over fences so far, winning on debut at Fairyhouse in January and there could be more to come from him. This trip and forecast ground do not hold any fears, something that can't be said for a few in this line-up, and so he looks one of the safer options.
Stonehall Jack doesn't win as often as desired and while he's in good heart lately, facing a career-high mark is a negative.
Smadynium should give his running but might he in the grasp of the handicapper while
Holeinthewall Bar would be a threat if he's in the mood. In first-time cheekpieces,
Thomond's run in the Topham ensures he is also respected.
