Lawless Louis (11/4), Sheepscar Lad (10/3), Twizzell (4/1), Red Alert (9/2), Stubytuesday (11/2), Stringybark Creek (6/1), El Hombre (10/1), Brother McGonagall (14/1), Whigwham (16/1), Newgate Sioux (40/1)

Verdict

The suggestion is STRINGYBARK CREEK, who ran a very nice race in second at Nottingham last time out and going up only 1lb for that has leading claims here if able to replicate, or even improve upon that performance. He's only a three-year-old so there could be more to come, especially from that all-important low draw for a sprint at Beverley. Lawless Louis ran well over C&D last time and is feared most, ahead of Stubytuesday, who could build on a promising handicap debut last time.
  1. Stringybark Creek
  2. Lawless Louis
  3. Stubytuesday
