Cliff Bay maintained his rate of improvement on his latest start in the first time cheekpieces and his stable have been going well. At the foot of the handicap SKILFUL LORD arrives on the back of a couple of eyecatching runs when he has not been unduly punished but has run better than his final placings suggest. His yard had a winner on Saturday and the rider has a good strike rate for them.
