Verdict

BEAR'S AFFAIR has placed in two hunter chases already this season and can register his first success in this sphere by taking this concluding event. The selection steps up in trip here but won over this trip as a hurdler in 2015 and with the ground also likely to suit he can get the better of the top weight Mr Mercurial who finished behind the selection when the pair contested a prestigious event at Aintree earlier this month. Of their rivals Helpston has run well in two outings since returning from a long lay-off while Bound For Glory would also be of interest if making a quick re-appearance having run at Stratford on Sunday.
  1. Bear's Affair
  2. Mr Mercurial
  3. Helpston
