Shargiah is a real dark horse in this off a mark of 81. Having only had three runs he will not have had to improve much to be a contender in this. The handicapper appears to have gauged his Ripon success about right and he is giving away a fitness advantage. As a result we think it will pay to side with
THE WARRIOR who won a competitive handicap at Kempton before taking his chance in a hot race at Bath last time. Down in grade here, and with the champion rider on board, he can land this at the expense of
Bouclier. He was produced late to score over 6f at Kempton last time and won with more authority than the winning margin suggests. He has form over this longer trip and he looks the chief threat to the selection.
