Verdict

Top weight BENEFICIAL JOE was going the right way when he was last seen and has clearly been kept fresh with better ground a must for him. In a race where plenty appear regressive or past their best, he is one that should have more to offer. The Road Ahead is into the veteran stage now but first time up could be the time to catch her and if the market speaks in her favour, that should be taken note of. Imperial Prince is going the right way too and although this is a bit tougher, he should get in the money again, at worst.
