Verdict

With plenty of pace likely in this contest it may pay to side with recent course winner GOODWOOD CRUSADER. The selection was held up on that occasion and ran on strongly to comfortably see off his six rivals on firm ground that he appeared to relish and is likely to encounter again today. Ashwaq made all when breaking her maiden last time and is another of interest though she is likely to have competition for the lead in this her handicap and turf debut while Mr Pocket is another likely to be in the shake up providing blinkers worn when successful last time out work for a second time here.
  1. Goodwood Crusader
  2. Ashwaq
  3. Mr Pocket
