Lord Ballim has twice won at this track this year over hurdles and he should go close if able to reproduce those efforts now tackling fences again. There are enough doubts about that ability to bypass him however and the vote is instead handed to
WHATS UP WOODY. He was in fine fettle back in the autumn, scoring off a break at Perth before adding a double there and running with credit at Hexham. His final race of the sequence was here and the longer trip may have proved his undoing.
Baileys Concerto will be suited back at this distance while
Special Wells has to bounce back from a flop at Newcastle last time.
