Fire Diamond rattled off a four-timer in Class 6 races this winter and has been aimed much higher since. The handicapper has dropped him down the weights following a disappointing effort last time in a hot race where he was poorly drawn. He makes plenty of appeal in a race against more exposed rivals.
Papou Tony appeared to have a bit left when scoring over a mile last time. He was always travelling like a winner that day and this shorter trip should not be a problem.
CHETAN is interesting from his reduced handicap mark. Two runs this spring will have him spot on for this and his form of last year gives him an obvious chance.
