Verdict

It often pays to race prominently on the Grand National course and previous course winner POOLE MASTER can cause an upset by taking the 2017 renewal of this prestigious event. The selection won at Wincanton when last seen in action and has improved with each run this season; he can take this at the chief expense of previous winner On The Fringe. Enda Bolger's charge has been a regular fixture in hunter chases in recent seasons but suffered a defeat at the hands of Pacha Du Polder at Cheltenham last month and may well find one too good again while prolific point-to-point winner Broken Eagle is also worth noting in a highly competitive field.
  1. Poole Master
  2. On The Fringe
  3. Pacha Du Polder
