Lord Murphy (6/4), Zubaidah (9/2), Captain K (13/2), Sir Jamie (7/1), Mount Cheiron (8/1), Free To Roam (8/1), West Leake (16/1), Sarakova (16/1), Pipers Piping (22/1), Gamesters Lad (28/1), Dibloam (28/1), Overrider (50/1), Ormering (50/1)

Verdict

LORD MURPHY has recent winning form and the potential for further improvement. Those factors make him the logical selection in a weak contest. He holds a few of these on the basis of his latest victory when he won with a bit in hand. The main danger would appear to be Sir Jamie who ran well in defeat at Lingfield last week. He is another lightly raced sort who is running into form. Mount Cheiron is more than capable of winning a race like this. He is weighted to finish closer to Lord Murphy today and that gap will narrow further should the race be run to suit his needs.
  1. Lord Murphy
  2. Sir Jamie
  3. Mount Cheiron
