Cafe Au Lait (3/1), Red Admirable (4/1), Eddy (9/2), Spirit Of Hale (6/1), It's Oscar (7/1), Actiondancer (15/2), Highland Life (8/1), Badbad Leroy Brown (11/1), Rocky Elsom (20/1)

Verdict

It might pay to side with EDDY here. His recent form is a little misleading, as he was only beaten 9L when fifth last time, and was travelling very well when falling the time before. It may be it is taking him a little while to recover from a recent absence and though he's never won a race under rules he has run consistently well in the past and surely has a race in him at some point. Highland Life is one of the only recent winners in the field and looks a progressive type, so is one to consider, as well as Cafe Au Lait, who may not yet have shown his full potential at intermediate trips.
  1. Eddy
  2. Highland Life
  3. Cafe Au Lait
