Verdict

This is not an easy race to unravel with the in form horses switching to smaller obstacles. CATCHTHEMOONLIGHT represents the in form Lucinda Russell team and showed good form to finish second to a well treated rival at Kelso before hacking up at Hexham. Three poorer runs since coincided with her yard going off the boil and she will be a different proposition now. Pekanheim has a good handicap mark but, having shown better form over further, there is a concern this may be a bit quick for him. He would still have to a rate a danger in a race lacking quality and recent form. Mitcd has been given a break in order to wait for better ground. A reproduction of her C&D success in November would see her involved at the business end of this.

  2. Pekanheim
