Verdict

Locus Standi won this contest a year ago and needs major respecting this evening having scored over a longer trip on return from a layoff last week. He is likely to give this a bold attempt now. Repare Mon took a sizeable step forward on his handicap debut here last time out and is respected as a result with the likelihood of a bit more to come yet. Cristy's Call is a three-time C&D winner and has run well this year already, though must bounce back off a substandard recent effort while Hello Humpfrey is another with some form worth paying attention to since the turn of the year. Shepherds Crook makes some appeal upped in distance having run some pleasing races recently but a chance is taken on SIX SILVER LANE, who went close off a 1lb lower mark last time and may be able to snare this prize with the blinkers added.
  1. Six Silver Lane
  2. Locus Standi
  3. Shepherds Crook
