Verdict

A trappy contest to begin proceedings and it might pay to side with ARBOURFIELD coming back off a short layoff. He has two C&D wins from three outings this year and may be capable of defying his career-high mark to score again. The dangers are headed by Elusive In Paris and Burn The Boats, the former is versatile so this drop in trip isn't a worry after last week's close second. Burn The Boats is anything but reliable and hasn't won for some time, but certainly has been threatening of late. Oor Jock is in good heart although he is up in the weights since his 6f win here last month while last week's winner Hes Our Music is not as effective and has failed to win in a dozen attempts at this trip.
  1. Arbourfield
  2. Elusive In Paris
  3. Burn The Boats
