His career has seen him exhibit stamina and speed which will be an asset in a race likely to be run at a frantic gallop. That pace will be set by De Faoithesdream who was unlucky not to win at Cheltenham two starts ago. He represents connections that do well here and if the stable were in better form he would have been the selection. Red Spinner has been getting no mercy from the handicapper but may find the drop to 2m working in his favour.
