SHANTOU ROCK made all to score here in February having previously chased home the useful Beyond Conceit at Newbury. He has since been beaten at Southwell in a race where he was ridden with more restraint. That was a more slowly run contest and he was made to look one paced in the closing stages. This looks easier and, provided it does not prove to be a tactical affair, Dan Skelton's charge can go one better.
Comanche Chieftain is the obvious danger judged on his debut effort at Plumpton on bad ground. There is a small race to be won with him and probably when the ground dries up.
Ujagar and Sky of Stars have achieved little so far and the former is expected to pick up third prize.
