Verdict

A last time out fall is not ideal preparation but TIME AND TIMES was going well enough on his handicap debut at Down Royal last week to merit serious consideration. He looked set for a big role in that contest and can atone over this slightly shorter trip. Conna Cross is an obvious danger on the back of two strong runs at 2m already this year while Lets High Five It has also been going along nicely, albeit his one poor run from four recently arrived at this trip. Gold Smoke is also on the shortlist coming back in trip having made a decent fist of things for a long way at Limerick on Saturday before a jumping error scuppered hopes.
