Absence rather tempers enthusiasm for
FLAXEN FLARE, who would clearly take plenty beating in this field at his best. Given the form of the Elliott team, he may be worth taking the chance however as he made a successful chasing debut off an absence when last seen.
Bonbon Au Miel was himself returning from a long break when runner-up at Leopardstown early this month, though that was a very promising start to his career in Ireland and he must be greatly respected.
Gurteen has been a shade disappointing in two runs this term but remains a horse to watch while
Oiche Mhaith Boy can be competitive if jumping slightly better than last time at this track.
Lilshane and
Head Turner are both coming here off disappointing runs.
