Verdict

The best race on the card and it looks a competitive contest with last year’s winner Shyron off a lower mark this time but it could well be a stronger race this year. Both Intransigent and Horsted Keynes should be respected although the latter is on a long losing run and has looked an awkward ride in the past. Suqoor appeared sharpened up by the cheekpieces last time out and is still nicely handicapped on his best form. However, the vote goes to ANGELIC LORD who had some good form as a three-year-old and ran well enough last time out with the handicapper giving him a chance. 1. Angelic Lord 2. Suqoor 3. Intransigent
