Verdict

EDEIFF'S LAD had been running well prior to disappointing last time out and wasn't beaten far when finishing third here a month ago. The selection has solid form on soft ground and finished runner-up off this mark and slightly shorter than today's trip at Wincanton in December and while his wins/runs record of 1/19 isn't the best he looks more reliable than most in here. Deise Vu has yet to win in 12 attempts under rules but put a poor run on his penultimate start behind him last time out and can claim second while What's Up Rory has kept good company in three novice chase runs and can claim third on his handicap debut. 1. Edeiff's Lad 2. Deise Vu 3. What's Up Rory
