Verdict

GAYEBURY can register his first success in handicap company at the opening attempt here. The seven-year-old has finished runner-up the last twice but has looked as if this extra distance would suit and he can get the better of the Irish raider Jury Duty who's been running in similarly competitive events recently and has a good young jockey in the saddle here. Both Abbreviate and Soupy Soups have been running well recently but it's the former who gets the nod for third having finished in a close second at Doncaster earlier this month. 1. Gayebury 2. Jury Duty 3. Abbreviate
