Verdict

MONSIEUR GIBRALTAR hasn't always looked a natural over fences, most notably when a beaten odds-on favourite at Bangor in May 2016 but he should have enough class to get off the mark at the first attempt in hunter chases. The selection was an easy winner over three miles in a point-to-point last time out and represents a yard with a very good 42% strike rate (8./42) in these events in recent seasons and he can get the better of Delta Borget who took this race in 2016 and last seasons Ludlow hunter chase victor Ballytober. 1. Monsieur Gibraltar 2. Delta Borget 3. Ballytober
