Verdict

CHIEFTAINS CHOICE is well handicapped on his best form having contested some hot races when with John Quinn. He ran well in defeat at Kempton last time when chasing home Cleni Wells. A 7lb pull for being beaten just under two lengths should see him turn the tables with that rival. Jack Sherwood's mount has improved significantly for the application of a hood and he should be thereabouts again. Royal Hall has caught the eye on both starts and represents a stable always worth noting at this track. A market move for him would be highly significant. 1. Chieftain's Choice 2. Cleni Wells 3. Royal Hall
