Verdict

WELSH INLET isn't the most consistent of animals but is in good form at present and can follow up last weeks victory by defying a penalty here.. The mare has a decent draw here which should allow her apprentice jockey to race close to the pace as she did last week and she can get the better of Bartholomew J who improved on his maiden form when making the frame at Wolverhampton last month. Of the remainder Goodluck Joey is well drawn for his handicap debut and represents shrewd connections while Captain K has been consistent without winning and takes a drop in trip here. 1. Welsh Inlet 2. Bartholomew J 3. Captain K
