Verdict

Hard to say what might have happened had Asthuria, already a C&D winner here, stood up at Thurles in December. She was alongside SHATTERED LOVE that day when crumping after the third last, the selection was going every bit as well and galloped all the way to line so at the forecast prices she makes most appeal now going up in trip. It is also noteworthy that the champion trainer's stable jockey chooses Pravalaguna over Asthuria here. She won well at Navan in December and is open to further progress. She's A Star has been beaten only by the talented Death Duty in four starts over hurdles and merits plenty respect now in what looks a competitive Grade Three heat. West Bridge was a fortunate C&D winner recently and perhaps a bigger challenge here looms from Limerick maiden scorer Island Remede for a trainer in red-hot form. 1. Shattered Love 2. Pravalaguna 3. Asthuria
